Ohio bow hunting
« on: December 27, 2021, 05:07:53 PM »
Hi guys, I am tagged out in greene County and have enough venison.
I'd like to hear about some fun hunting adventures you guys go on after deer season.
I take small game and a few pheasant (preserve hunts) every year.
Looking forward to the stories and pictures.

  Congrats!
My boys and I do a rabbit hunt each January. Best hunt of the year. Were like a pack of coyotes with bows. Then time to head south and kill some hogs.

The hunt is the trophy!

I'll be tagging along w a friend who got drawn for Cow Elk special season next week. He's using a rifle and gets two tags.

I might try ice fishing again after 50 yrs.

Chase some Jack Rabbits.

Shed antler hunting in a month or so.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

When it comes to Whitetail it's all about hunting with the longbow.  But after tags are filled I'm chasing squirrel with the pcp pellet rifle and a rabbit hunt or two.  We've taken 5 coyotes off our farm in the last couple months.  Sorry no pics here since these aren't Archer activities.  I'm in Marysville if you ever get up this way we can shoot some stumps.

I used to set up a tree stand in the corner of a corn field and take squirrels that went in after the post-harvest kernels. Lots of shots at those little critters.
