Longbow Safari?
« on: January 17, 2022, 08:25:41 PM »
Does anyone know where the NALS is being hosted this year? Im not even certain it was held last year. I know it was postponed in 2020 and Idaho was supposed to host last year.

Not sure, but I'm sure someone will be along in a bit to inform us.  :campfire:

I too would love to hear. I heard it was canceled last year and was to be in Idaho. Does that mean Canada this year?

Postponed in 2020 due to covid, held in Idaho last year (2021) with reduced attendance due to covid border closure. Theoretically in Canada this year but I've heard nothing so far. Keep checking the Rocky Mountain Longbow Assn website for info.

Thanks Gord, I wasn't sure if it actually happened last year or not.

I went to NALS in New Meadows 2021, pretty light showing. Would love to hear where 2022 will be held, absolutely love NALS and it’s “cult” following.

I keep checking the Idaho Traditional Bowhunters website.   Last years NALS flyer is still posted but no word of 2022 on either site so far.

I'm still not seeing any information anywhere. No one wants to host in Canada or is it because the Canadians are still making it harder to enter because of Covid?

Would love to attend this year, but I need to plan 4 or 5 months out.

Thank you for the information. I know 2021 was in Idaho, so this year should be in Canada, but I will call and get the scoop. If I do get the 10-4 I will share it here. Thanks again.
