John, I haven't heard from Mickie in quite a while but if you look on the Build Along page, at the bottom of the first page is Mickie's building cane arrows and at the bottom of the second page is Mickie's selfbow build along.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!

Spent some time with Mickey and his brother at the 2003 Mojam. He is a good man and I enjoyed his company. Unfortunately, I have not heard from him in quite a few years. I just tried to email him but the message was returned. Jawge

I saw Mickey half a dozen years back at Mojam , he was into his motorcycles at that time and not doing a lot of bows if I remember right.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Bikes… hmmm, here it used to be that when man’s eyes and ears have lost ability to look at TV or listen to radio (and shoot arrows), let’s buy a bike to him! 😎

I always got a chuckle out of his post signature...

"Good wood makes better bows, but Crap wood better Bowyers"

Very true

I saw Mickey and Dianne several years ago, when my son and I were passing thru Cinci.  We used to hunt together when I lived there, and we always made sure to eat some Skyline chili.  He hunts his property a little, and with his son, but their passion is riding their motorcycles now. Nothing wrong with that. Great guy, I miss spending time with him.
