In order to stay in good graces with the farmer, I have promised him that I will shoot does.  And I have a hard time doing that most years.  The aren't stupid here in PA.
As my uncle says...
antlers are only good for stirring soup, and I don't like soup
Super Curves.....
Covert Hunter Hex9h
Morrison Max 6 ILF
Mountain Muffler strings to keep them quiet
Shoot as much weight as you can with accuracy

Wheels2, no, does are not stupid. in fact they are the ones that teach the bucks their first lessons in life. Sometimes the older does can be very very hard to harvest, they seem to know all of the tricks. Permissions are to be protected by keeping the owner happy, so it is what it is if you like your permission. Glad that you have one and your uncle was very right. Jerry

I have NO problem shooting Does!!

That said, I prefer to do it AFTER the Rut... There's no better "Buck Bait" than a hot doe
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

May The Great Spirit Guide Your Arrows..... Happy Hunting!!!

With the hunting I have available I'm fortunate to have any deer in bow range. I might pass something with spots but anything else gets an effort.
