We need more forms related posts
« on: September 04, 2022, 09:52:18 AM »
As soon as I go through the Pow Wow, I flip over to the Forms board. It seems that there are not many entries these days. I really enjoy reading about issues and what people are doing about them. I have picked up a lot of useful tips from the advice so many have offered here. Some habits I had were not even considered a problem until I read about them and then set out to improve. I still have an issue with plucking but am making progress. Unfortunately, a bad release sneaks through with some degree of regularity.

I certainly hope the decrease of discussions on form are the result of so many working through their issues, but I wouldn't bet my lunch money on it. Anyway, I would like to see more activity on FORMS. There is a lot to be learned from other people's experiences. There are a lot of really knowledgeable people that respond. It is very interesting and helpful. I don't know if this post really serves much of a purpose - I'm just expressing a thought I have had for a while.

I haven't thought about the form section in a very long time.  Thanks for the reminder Sam.

I spend a fair bit of time over there usually, but this is not the time of year to go about changing how you shoot.  At least that's how I see it. I'm either shooting well enough to be hunting or I'm not, and what ever shooting form I have is going into the woods with me.
Once my season is over I'll start working on my shot again, and ill end up posting when I run into an issue I cant solve on my own. I suspect it's the same with most folks.

Yeah, great info over there.  There's a ton of info on the form clock thread.

There were a lot more videos on this thread Member Form Improvement Videos UPDATE 1. but some were deleted by members and others went the way of photobucket and other 3rd party hosts as I recall.

I was able to spend some time reading posts in the form section.  It was well worth the time spent.
