Bare Foot heading to Ohio
« on: September 09, 2022, 09:14:52 PM »
Here is another Bare Foot "B" length riser that i just finished up and shipped out today. This one has the SS RC #2 limbs and is 62" in length 44@28". The material is a high density wood laminate called ChromaPly. Much better mass weight and strength than the standard Spectra action wood you see out there. The birch laminations are very thin giving a better wood grain appearance to the finished product.   These risers are custom made in 4 different lengths with custom grip options, and will take stock TD Bear limbs.

Here is a link to the whole build album.        Kirk

A real beauty. That's my buddy's bow.  He sent me the pictures of it after final sanding and before finishing.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

I enjoyed working with George and think he’s really going to enjoy this one. Having the ability to fine tune the Tiller on these risers is a bonus. Typically there is very little adjustment needed after I balance the limbs, but it’s a very nice feature when you put a new string on and set your bow up initially.

Here is a set up video I made awhile back you may be interested in watching.
In this video I’m setting up a “B+“ 21.5” riser.     Kirk
