Pennsylvania deer season will be opening in a few short weeks.  I finally have my setup all dialed in:

66” Sunset Hill, 54@27”.
Cedar 65/70 arrows cut to 28.5”.
Howard Hill 160 grain broadheads.

But might switch to my PCH carbon 45 at 28” sometime since it really never got a chance to hunt last year!

As always I have a “quiver” full of bows, but recently got my new Habu Deathadder 62” 54# and must say it is the unicorn that I was hoping for! With that being said I still love my trusty 62” 53# BW PL.. I’m hunting first off with the Habu to get some notches under its belt but the PL will certainly come out too! Shooting 400 3” 4 fletch day six with 50gr inserts and 200gr daysix Evos out of both. Love both of these set ups. The Habu the the ideal western bow for me in the long range class but after getting it and buying a family boat the spring western hunting is out until next year so pigs and deer will have to do! Best of hunting to you all!

Surewood shafts that I made into arrows, 61-64 lb spine with 200 gr heads and a total arrow weight around 580-590 grains.  Pushing them with a Toelke Chinook drawing 43 lb at my 26".  Arrows will be carried in a Great Northern Strap-on quiver and loosed with a Bateman cordovan tab.
