We believe we have everything set up properly on the website and have listed the Dark Timber shafts just a few minutes ago. Come an get em!
Here is what you can expect from Dark timbers for pricing and options:

spines of 340,400,500,600,700,800 all in my own custom wood grain pattern. 340-600 are a standard 5/16" shaft that takes a .244 insert 700-800 is a .234 inside diameter and will take 9/32 points.

Weights are similar to other wood grain shafts. The finish is more durable and shouldn't wear.. you can even use acetone to remove the labels if you like without fear of removing the wood grain. All shafts are 32 7/8" long from throat of nock to bop.

You will be able to order 6 at a time or more of course. You will have your choice of nock colors at no extra charge. We will also be offering test kits.

Included in the price will also be your choice of aluminum standard inserts or brass weighted inserts! .. .you can have both for an additional $8.99 per dz.

Price for one dozen of the Dark Timbers including choice of nocks and choice of inserts ... $69.99

Dark timbers are made in KOREA.. not China FYI for those that will ask. They are made by a very reputable company who makes shafts for one of the top 3 arrow manufacturers.

Great options Jim! I bought a bunch of the first introduced from a friend that cut them off a little too short and noticed the finish wasn’t durable. Fortunately it made no difference to me but nice to know they are improved. Fine shafts thanks for offering.

As I am watching the orders pour in, I am seeing what I think are some excessive shipping fees. If this is the case, we will be refunding the excess. We don't make a profit on shipping.
Having said that, there have been a few new shipping regulations and increased fees that I don't understand... I also don't do any shipping so I may be talking out of place here.

BigJim, it may not be the case that excessive fees are being attached to the orders. Shipping for arrow length packages have gone up considerably if you are using USPS. It may just be the case that what you are charging reflects these new shipping costs that you are incurring. Not sure but just my thoughts for what it is worth.

All the carriers are charging extra fees for longer than 30"s however I'm fairly certain that we can circumvent those up charges by using the USPS triangular shipping boxes. We are working on things but are extremely understaffed. Combine that with unprecedented sales and we are struggling a bit.
This week will be an all time low for employee attendance as well. My office manager will likely be out a couple days due to family tragedy and I will be recovering from hip replacement surgery that will take place in the morning.

I had a hunting buddy have his done, and he was out of the hospital and walking around in no time. He did it about this same time of year, and was back on th3 trails shooting 3D in late spring early summer…. Amazing… He’s a big dog like you too….

Good to see made in Korea rather than China. Can’t always get made in USA. If I ever need any more arrows I’ll be looking at these .

Riverwolf, the last couple weeks happened so fast that I wasn't able to prepare for pictures and videos and all. Hope to be moving around and back to work in a few days... maybe.

I will say that I have been shooting these shafts.. my test and final approved samples for better than 10 months. I have been very pleased with their consistency and durability. I only recall breaking two shafts of the bunch. One shaft  I did on purpose by shooting a concrete block twice before it cracked a little on the insert end. The other I spine shot a boar.. about 200 lbs and he flopped and flopped and flopped all over my arrow before finally breaking it off inside his spine.
Without a doubt, they are far easier to lose than they are to break!   

MCNSC, most carbon shafts are made outside the US. I'm sure that the safety issues and expenses has something to do with this. Even companies that do make shafts here often have some made in other countries.
