Look into Appling Archers. They are near Augusta, never been myself so don’t know anything about them.

Not a “ shoot” but Bobby Brown county park near Elberton GA has a nice archery range with I think 20 3D targets. if you are just looking for a place to shoot. But that’s a pretty good drive from Aiken.

Thanks, MCNSC for the info. Still looking for something closer to Aiken. I can shoot all I want around my farm, but a little company would be nice...tippit

Wonder how many TGrs would show up if there was a “shoot” at Bobby Brown county park ? I’m right at 90 miles away, but used to camp at Calhoun Falls state park in SC and would take my bow and drive over to BB to shoot their range.

Do any of you guys hunt in the Aiken area?  My parents live in McCormick county and there is a lot of National Forest land nearby.  I hunted it a couple of years ago but didn’t see a ton of deer sign where I was.  It was difficult to justify the 4 hour drive and the $400 out of state license fees, so I have not been back to hunt, but it would be great to meet up with some guys that hunt the area…

The Appling Archers do have a course in Appling GA but their shoot is not until Memorial Day weekend. The course has been closed but I believe it just opened back up after hunting season closed. It seems like there used to be a group of guys that had a place to shoot over in Aiken but I don’t know if they are still active…
I’d be happy to go shoot with you, either Appling or your place…

Check out the 3 or 5 day small game license fee and go after hogs.

Terry,
I've given up my Georga hog lease plus there aren't any hogs around my farm. Guess I'll have to settle for deer in the fall and just shoot on the farm during the off season.

Hey Rick James,
I'd be happy for you to come over to Aiken and shoot. Maybe even forge up a knife or reduce weight on a bow. Just pm me...tippit
