That's a good question.   I'm interested in knowing that too.

Eric Reitsma bought GN from Bob. Eric has helped GN build bows for 20 years. He’s a super nice guy to talk to. .

I ordered a 62 inch Ghost. Build time 14-16 weeks. I should get it around February.

I sent several people messages that have recently bought bows from Eric. They told me they were just as nice as the bows that Jerry built. This will be my first Ghost, I have always wanted one.

Eric and his family are great people, and he has done an outstanding job on the two Super Ghosts he has built for me.  My current favorite is an all G10 riser cut past center and tapped for a standard insert.  I am running a springy rest in there now.  Dark green glass on the belly and Diamondback skins on the back.  62" and 47@30".  She spits a 705gn arrow pretty fast!!  I would order without hesitation, in fact, I've got another on order now!!

I've got an old one and a buddy has a new one.  I think mine is a better looking bow - a slightly better finish but functionally, they seem identical.  Fast bows.

Thanks for all of the replies.   I'm charmed by 50's style bows and they are beautiful.   I was looking through Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear's inventory recently and I ended up buying a Wild Horse Creek Mariah, 42# at 54".  The bow should arrive today or tomorrow.   Its riser has a locator style grip and is wrapped in ostrich.   Tom at RMSG told me that the bow looks as if it has not been shot...brand newish.

I currently own and hunt with a 40# 52" Toelke Kestrel and I had been looking for another on various sites but those I found for sale were of higher draw weight, beyond what my 72 year old frame can manage.   And, of course Dan has ceased production of the Troll, successor to the Kestrel.  I was disappointed about that but then it occurred to me that other bowyers produced bows that are just as nice.   I prefer 1 piece bows over take downs.

On another note I've been a big fan and owner of Wes Wallace's bows and I ended up selling mine because the draw weights eventually became too heavy.   I recently ordered a 1 piece, 60" and 40-43# to be made of Macassar ebony from tip to tip.   That bow will be made with Wes' B Riser, a shorter model than his standard offering.    Should arrive in April.

I know that I was impressed when I saw it and even more so when it arrived.   It is gorgeously crafted.   I need to put some string silencers on it and take it out to play.

I have a 2006 ghost which in mind is still new but in reality is almost 17 years old now. I love it! Super smooth to draw, very fast, easy to point, etc. If I were to order a new bow right now it would be another ghost. My only complaint is the hard leather shelf and strike plate that it came with. It's very loud when an arrow slides across it so I'll replace it with velcro. Other than that it's currently my favorite bow on the rack.
