Think I'll show you a bow. This one is No 17 from my new webpage I'm currently working on. I really like the the wood combo and it's become kinda flagship bow. That's also why it's got that little + and it's decorated with our local heraldic beast blingbling. This chiseld metal stuff also is a local tradition of art where I come from.

Best Greetings from Switzeland

For those who are interested: this one eas tested on the shooting machine - 12gpp, 10gpp and 8.7gpp @ 28" (AMO)

Spectacular as always, Simon. The purpleheart powerlam really adds a beautiful accent.

What is your procedure with the nock overlays? Do you final shape them, glue them on and then shape the limb tip to the overlay or work the overlay some once it's glued on?

Beautiful work!   Those are some very unique tip overlays... Aerodynamic for sure. Zero wind resistance. :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:

Great looking bow   You should inlay that little dog, kinda looks lost sitting proud of the surface.

Looks like you might have some skiing nearby?

Love that silhouette photo at full draw...

Btw.... Those are some excellent chrono numbers for such a light draw weight. Glass backed bows are tough to get higher performance at lower draw weights.

Thanks Guys!
Mark, the only thing you have to prep in advance/before glueup is the bevel and transition from the tips to the back of the bow; this spot cannot be worked after glueup without affecting the bows back.
Buggs, it sure would look purdy as an inlay if properly done. I dont think I could do it properly 😅
....skilift pic for you....🤗 Why does this site always flip my pics?

Nice try!  I might believe that if your craftsmanship was not on display here. That and you got to have some Swiss precision in your blood :saywhat:

Looks like you got some snow too!
