This years trip to South Africa to hunt Sofala will be with an old friend.
I made this takedown Osage bow back in the 90's from a pair of billets out of the first Osage tree that I ever cut down off my place. It has taken game all over the country and traveled the world with me as a back up bow in my checked luggage more times than I can count.
I took two caribou bulls with it in the Northwest Territories, a Black Bear in Manitoba Canada, it has taken game in Wyoming and is always easy to shoot.
I haven't hunted with it in years and now that I have completed the Spiral Horn Slam in South Africa with a sinew backed Osage bow, I can start using what I want again. I am having to get built back up to its heavy high 60's weight but it wont take long before I'm comfortable shooting it again.
Quite as a mouse and will cast a 750 grain arrow with deadly speed and accuracy I am looking forward to hunting with the Medicine Stick again.
