Bow quiver

I should be receiving a new to me jd berry viper in the next few days and I understand that the limbs on them are very narrow. Was wondering if anyone has one what kind of bow mounted quiver you’ve tried and which ones you like best. Thanks

I love my slip on quivers on my recurves but wasn’t sure if the longbow model would be tight enough for the smaller limbs

Nickey the Selway slide on longbow quiver should fit fine on your Berry.

I got one on a bow thats virtually a clone of Berry's mild reflex deflex bows.I just push it down the fades as far as I can while wiggling it back and forth.I use little water on the fades and in the rubber slots.Very solid!

If you went that route I would recommend the mini size rawhide model on that bow.

There are a number of good bow quivers available. Several of these producers are sponsers on this site. How many arrows do you plan to carry?  Most of what we sell (EFA) are 3 or 4 arrow.

I would say at least 4 arrows would be sufficient. I’ve never really needed more than 2 on any occasion but never hurts to have a few extras!!

I have Eagles Flight, Selway, Great Northern and Big Jim's.  They are all good. The one I find myself using the most is Big Jim's. Easy on and off, and will fit any bow.

I shoot homemade bows with thick, narrow limbs like the ones you’re getting. Selway slip on, Eagles Flight strap on, and Great Northern strap on quivers all fit well. Just make sure you get the longbow version of the Selway as it is different (narrower gripper) than the recurve version. Big Jim strap on fits but I don’t like how it doesn't hold in place as well on a small riser. Thunderhorn strap on does not fit narrow, thick longbow limbs well; it seems to be designed more for modern hybrid bows with thinner limbs.

I have Great Northern strap on version that has severed well since 2010. Moves between my 3 longbows with ease.

I really like Big Jim's strap-on quivers I had 3, traded one away and regret that, but they still make them so I'll get another.
