« on: June 06, 2023, 01:51:54 PM »
I see these limbs with different color tips.  Green were the original and not FF compatable?
What about the others?  Black and white are most recent probduction?  I also see red...

I’m unsure if the vintage are FF compatible, I’d say no…. I do know the new production black and white tip anniversary limbs and new black and red tip limbs are compatible.

Actually red, white and black tips were all made before green tips.  Green and brown tips came later.  Then more recently, black and white, red and black, and black and white again.   Whether the older limbs are fast flite compatible is a matter of opinion.  The limb tip overlays are quite substantial on older limbs, and the limbs themselves are rather wide and sturdy.  I've been running D-97 on older limbs for about 7-8 years with no problems.  Your choice.

So if I can't rely on color, what about a serial number to gauge age?
