A new ASL
« on: February 11, 2023, 07:56:35 PM »
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted bow I’ve built.  I’m still at it, just slowed down a little over the past couple years.

So here it is. 68” 53#@28”. Limbs are actionboo, brown glass back, gray glass belly.  The “stacked” riser is four layers of actionboo and cherry.  I wouldn’t normally use cherry in a riser, but with this design it should have no problem holding up.  It’s not the quickest, but no ASL is. I’m happy with how it turned out - simple and clean look.

And of course supplies came from Kenny.

Thats a handsome bow for sure!  Nice looking leatherwork on the grip and it looks like you got some good color complements with the tips and handle

Thanks guys.
Hopefully I’ll get to take a bear in Quebec with it come June. I’m sure it will do the job if I do my part.
