« on: May 13, 2008, 08:51:00 PM »
Hi..has anyone had this problem?  I have no problem pulling back 60lbs, I mean not a twinge of anything but upon release I get an incredible pain on my drawing arm from just above my elbow to my shoulder on the side of my upper arm..anyone know what may be the problem?  Thanks

I had a similar problem and it was an impingement , BUT I would not seek a diagnosis or treatment options from the members of this or any other forum, no offense intended to anyone. You need to see your physician.

Better quit shooting til' you see a doctor. You don't want to screw up your arm and not be able to shoot for a while. Ask me how I know this.Gary

All I can say is don't ignore it. Stop shooting rest and ice and see your doc. Stretch before and after shooting. Could be an impingment but, more likely it is tendonitis. I'm not a doc just speaking from personel experience.(nut)
