Distinguishing Wood Type
« on: June 27, 2023, 11:52:41 AM »

Hi All,
I purchased this RER LX a decade ago and I'm trying to figure out the wood type. From memory, I believe it was bubinga, bocote and chechen in some combination? Are you folks able to distinguish wood type?

This is my first post. I recently commissioned a Deflex/Reflex and was going to post this RER on eBay, but trying to be transparent on wood type. Any help is appreciated. Looking forward to getting back into the Hobby.

Thanks
Randall

Bubinga in the center, Chechen on the outside of the riser. Bocote limb veneers and riser overlay.
