My first advice is to always go see your doctor before you would cause possible serious damage.I had elbow pain last year and my doctor said I had some bursitis in my elbow.I got an elbow brace and did some physical therapy exercises I got off the internet. And over a few months and icing, exercises and the brace my elbow is all better.I was able to shoot without pain with the brace.I didn't want to get any shots,I wanted to heal naturally and strengthen my elbow. You may have a different problem so I believe you should get your doctor's opinion.

Doctors first but I had the same problem and by lowering my elbow at full draw and a deeper hook on the string it made a world of difference for me.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

You also need to make sure that you're pulling with your back muscles, rather than your shoulders/arms.
I came down with tendonitis (tennis elbow) around Christmas.  As with JRY309 above, I had to lay off shooting for about a month, and I now wear braces on both elbows.  I CONCENTRATED for the first few weeks, with a 45# bow, using back tension when I draw.  Now, shooting bows is part of my therapy, as my elbows feel BETTER after a shooting session.  I DO notice that I have a spot between my shoulders that feels "tired" after a long session with 60# bows...which tells me I'm using the correct muscles....
See the DOCTOR....and good luck!
