I'm only 74 but I thought I'd look at it anyway.  :biglaugh: I remember.

I remember that-how did we all catch the same boat.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

I have that book as well as another he wrote. I actually shot with CR Learn back in late 70’s. That was at “the gravel pit” in Lakeside, CA. He was one of the “old guys” to me.

I was in 8th grade when that was published.  I thought it was probably the coolest book ever!  (As an oldish guy, it still seems pretty cool!)

Good grief, he's shooting split finger, how "retro".   :knothead:

Old guys huh….
I’m 41 and have read it cover to cover both ways. That along with the Chuck Adams 3rd edition, the original Archers digest, the original edition of the archers Bible, and Bowhunting for deer. My dad has and shared a great collection of books when I was kid.
The Witchery of Archery and the Traditional Bowyers Bible were just lagniappe.

Very cool. I do remember that. Every time I see this kind of thing, it reminds me of better times.
