13" VPA risers
« on: December 23, 2023, 11:03:00 AM »
I am looking at purchasing a 13" VPA riser.  I am currently shooting a 19" riser with medium Nika limbs and my draw length is 29".  My understanding with this 13" riser is that due to the limb pad angle, the weight will be about the same as if it is on a 17" riser.
Can anyone with experience with this riser, confirm this and if you care to share your opinions of this riser, I would appreciate it!

Yes, it will be very similar weight as the 17”. Great riser, love shooting mine but need to get heavier limbs for hunting because I didn’t know they’d gain  the normal pound per inch when going shorter so misjudged on my medium Nika N3’s.

Only thing I don’t like is no stabilizer bushing.

Thanks for the reply Kelly. I also wish that it had a stab insert!
