THE basic skill

No matter what skill we are working on, the most basic requirement is to get your head out of... ugh... that dark place and think. How many times have I had to remind myself of this "skill"?

so true. I think this is the demise of many people. Most people know HOW to survive until help arrives, but you need to remain calm and remind yourself that you know how.
