Traditional string trackers...
« on: February 15, 2024, 04:43:48 PM »
Years ago, Chad Orde/Drifter made a few excellent trackers for me, but I can't seem to get a hold of him. Omnivore quivers has stated they are not making trackers anymore. Jim Neaves is making me a purple and pink curve. It's a tribute bow for me in honor of my daughter, who passed a few years ago. Drew from Selway has made a purple and pink quiver that is just awesome! So I'm trying to top everything off with a special tracker. Any info/ideas would be appreciated! Please help if you can ... Thanks--Mike/Temperance, Mi

Bama--sounds interesting, but for now, I'm thinking leather. Do your string trackers take the "full" spool? Thanks--Mike

i used mine on 3 deer this year. Each one reminded me of a big fish taking line off of a spool.  They worked perfectly. i would have found two without the tracker.  The 3rd deer would have been hard to find til morning.  With the tracker, 5 minutes and she was found.

you can also take a very small piece of the the hook side of velcro tape and put it on the shaft behind the head.  Then just wrap the thread around the shaft and it will stick in the velcro.
