Yes, the metal risers certainly shoot nice, but wood bows are so much quieter for a hunting bow and that's all I care about, PLUS they sure do look better.

Also, since I don't travel I've come to prefer one-piece bows because they are quieter than take-downs.

My current Black Widow TFX has quickly become my all-time favorite bow.
