Another vote for LW sit and climb. Well built, easy to use, quiet. I went to a more padded seat though.

Yeah, the LW seats are a pain in the a$$ if you're gonna spend more than 4 hours in one, but that's the only drawback I found. It's very stable, quiet, and easy to pack.

The Lone Wolf, they go up quick and quiet, and are rock solid when up. The only access point I have to the land I hunt is straight up a huge, steep hill, so I like the fact that they pack in small and light. I have the older sit and climb, with the sling type seat, comfy enough to keep me awake. I sure would like to sit in one of those giant, Laz-y-Boy lookin' Summits, but I don't think it's worth carrying it in.

Had a Summitt climber that was stable and once in the tree was like sitting in a lounge chair.
Problem was it was rather cumbersome packing in and setting up.
I'm looking for a lone wolf now.

I have an old Loggy Bayou like the others above and its true once the stand is set on the tree, you canstand any where on it and WILL not move. I also have a summit that is comfortable to sit in all day. I use the Loggy more like a loc-on type stand though.

So Stinger were can you get that tibertall stand... now being a hunter that use to call Manassas home and now living in the wilds of central NY Oneonta... how is VA, they use to have a lot of good bow clubs to shoot at. I was a member of cub run archers and also Prince william archers.

You guys must have a lot of straight trees around. I have a Summit Bushmaster which works nicely and is fairly light, but there are rarely straight trees in the spots that look the best for killing deer. I think I've used it maybe 4 times in 8 years.
