I am going to start a yew longbow soon.  I am thinking I want it to be 67-70" 55lbs@ 29".  Does anyone have a layout that would be safe and not worry so much about breaking for a relative newbie.  I have build on osage bow.  I know yew is a different beast.  I want dimensions like fades, and shape from the fades to the tips, tip widths, approx safe thickness for limbs from fades to ends.

I see the trad bowyers bible vol 1 has a design in there.  Not sure, what everyone thought about it.
