I "give it a shot" every year!    :)   Sorry, no camera, so I can't post pictures.
Canada has a huge population of whitetails. . . and mule deer, so your chances of getting within distance of a good buck are good.
Where abouts is this fellows property at?

I live in Alberta and hunt the bow zone near edmonton and  take a pope and young whitail just about every year try it if you can as alberta and saskatchewan have monster Bucks even does can weigh excess or 150 lbs outfitters out here are excellent at stand placemnent and will make your chances good at a World class whitetail or bear or Moose or Elk you decide which one and yes it is all wild Game no high fence hunting allowed here fair chase all the way   :wavey:

80 acres isn't much to plan a hunt on,, But then if it's the right 80 acres, it's more than enough

Where in Canada? East coast has some huge deer, but it can be tough bow hunting in the brush!

I agree that the best chances are likely Alberta or Sask. Even Manitoba, but they're more known for the bears I think as well as Ontario.

80 acres? Depends on whats bordering around ya....may be a sanctuary for them there. MHO.

Piney is in Southeastern Manitoba. It is near a very large public land forest called "Sandilands Provincial Forest". The deer population in Southeastern Manitoba has been very good the past few years. 80 acres could certainly be enough land, but it all depends what type of land it is. It could be bare prairie, thick forest, or anything in between in that area. It's probably not the best area in Manitoba for a large buck, but there lots of deer and I'm sure there are some big ones too. Good luck!
