Nova 2 21st Century
« on: May 25, 2008, 01:25:00 AM »
I picked up a very nice Nova 2 21st Century last week made by Jim and Buddy.

It is 66".  Does anyone know the recommended brace height?

It is a bit loud.  Two sets of limbs savers have not quietened it down very much.  It has carbon limbs I heard that carbon is sometimes loud.  Any suggestions?

I set the brace on my 66" 21st Century Nova at 8".The older Nova's had a higher brace height due to the high amount of R/D to make the IBO legal. My 62" Nova had a lower brace like 7&1/4",the longer the Nova the higher the brace height.I shoot a padded loop D97 with hush puppies and it seems as quiet as my other longbows. But maybe not as quiet as my Hill's but still quiet enough.I find D97 to be quieter then the old FF I had on it before.
