More Fish !!!
« on: May 26, 2008, 12:19:00 PM »
Went to check out a new place for fish yesterday.  Its only 8miles from the house.  There were a couple firsts that happened yesterday and today. I shot my first Buffalo and today shot my first Grass Carp.  First Row was yesterday morning.  Second row was this morning. Grass Carp is first one, second row.

With the cloud cover this morning, the carp were splashing everywhere.  If I only had a duck boat to pole in there I could have brought down the thunder.  :D

BMN, That is exactly what I need for that area.  You should get a day tag and come up here and we could murder the carp.

Brian, we'll have to plan a trip for sometime this summer. I have a Missouri lifetime permit so I'm good to go.

Awesome.  If you wanted to go to that spot we need to get out there before the water turns that awful green color and can't see anything. Its a duck marsh and it is loaded with fish.  Right now the water looks like black water down south.  Its still clear and you can see the fish real well.

My weekends are booked until the middle part of June. Hopefully you won't shoot all the fish by then   :D  I love shooting in the duck marshes. The pic of my boat was taken at four rivers last year after it flooded. Lots of shallow water and lots of fish!
