Does anyone have some info on Lemon wood longbows ?

You can buy them very reasonably on the auction place, they still shoot good and are lots of fun.   Look for old Pearsons and Yorks.   Often you can't find out the poundage until you get them.   They're fun to refinish.

THIS ONE HAS #40 ON IT. IT ALSO HAS A FADED COLORED INK STAMP OF TWO LEMONS ON IT.THE WORDING I CAN'T MAKE OUT. THE RING IS RED AND LETTERING IS WHITE. IT MAY BE A YORK OR A PEARSON. THIS ONE HAS NO WRAP ON GRIP OR REST "KNUCKLE" BUSTER.
