My wife's uncle recently received a Howett Mamba "Rocket" recurve.  Interesting looking bow with basically a reverse handled riser and sharply recurved tips at the end of straight limbs.

The bow says "Rocket" on it and Howett Mamba, no mention of Damon.  I would guess it to be made in the 50's or 60's, but really don't know.

It has a maple handle and maple limbs under green glass.

I don't have pictures, but was hoping someone would recognize the style and maybe shed some light on when the bow might have been made.  Thanks,

Stan
