Texas Mule Deer

I would like to know if there is anyone who has hunted with or without an outfitter in Texas for Desert Mule Deer. I am looking for a place to harvest TX mulies with trad archery equipment. Any info is much appreciated.

Here's one place to look at. Hard to beat (price wise) for a do-it-yourself hunt.

Matador is a great place to put in for mule deer,
I was drawn there the first year I put in for the hunt and took a really good texas mule deer. Hunted the section farthest back- Watch the draws and the coules- I found the muleys in the more open areas where they could see better.

I have been applying for this permit with no luck, YET! I was looking for something that I do not have to draw a permit on.
