Congrats Jim and Joe   :clapper:  Looks like you and joe are getting out and having some fun:0) What water are you fishing ? I have been out to the pond at work on lunch every other day and not seeing very many fish. We should get together and chase some around some time.  Drew

We went out this afternoon and had a blast Joe came close again but couldn't connect, the fish were deep and it was messing him up. I shot 6 two pulled off but one of them that I boated was a PIG it was bigger than the one I shot yesterday and that one weighed 26 pounds this one was well over 30 take a look at the pic    When we got back to the dock there was a man from Poland and his son he said he smokes them so we gave him our fish. Joe and I had a blast again.

Kathy, it will be tough to top this weekend as far as bowfishing goes, I think we hit the spawn just right, the spot we went to on Sun I picked on a hunch after reading about places to fish for carp, we were there once about a month ago just to look it over. Next week Joe and I are going on his school field trip to the whale watch in Boston, then there's sawmill. Were bunking with Mike so that will give this weekend a run for it's money   :bigsmyl:

Very nice Jim!!Nice boat too

I went up to the cottage this past weekend and the carp kept interupting my leveling the dock LOL I'd get going and here would come some more.

They were really splashing down the shore but I didn,t bother putting the boat in to go for them.Spent most of the weekend gettin the the rest of the dock out between regular pole fishing and the direct hook method of bowfishin.

Ended up with 7 fish which means ruffly 40-50 shots LOL

Fish should be splashin all week this week
Shoot straight and have FUN!!

Awesome! Those are some monsters! I'd be scared to shoot at one of those.
Wish we lived closer. Ru and I went out a couple of days ago. Nothing!  :(
Seeing those pictures makes me want to get out early a.m.
I had a friend visit from Romania last summer. We went out fishing. Me for bass and trout, him for carp and catfish.    He said he wouldn't turn down a trout just because they taste so good but as far as sport AND taste he preferred carp. Seems like the Asians and the Europeans really have a soft spot for it. Makes me wish i had paid more attention growing up, now I'd have a good recipe or two.

Till next time,
Congratulations!
Aram
