Man. The Kittery trading post! My dad bought me a bullwhip there when I was about 10 years old. That was about the greatest toy I've ever had. Sorry to hear about the poor results for you guys.
Is it September yet?!

Yeah, it was 0/10 for me also. Oh well, that means I get to guide and make some money. I get to hunt, just don't get to shoot.

Not sure how this works but I have a hunt booked for 2010, It cost me more b/c I had to buy a tag. I know people who have done this hunt before w/ this outfitter so I think it's all legit. ???? Any input?  It's sad that if you really really want to hunt something and don't want to wait forever, you have to buy a tag.

Yeah it's legit. The outfitter gets you and alternate tag. That is, you hunt on a residents tag. Generally, they get half the meat. The downside is, they want their moosemeat and it is strongly suggested that you use a gun on the last day. That sucks, I'm not doing that.

Your guy may be different.

PA, depends on the outfitter and how they're working the system. Some of the NA tribes have tags they use for sports, but it's costly. You should have a great hunt though. They have areas set aside that only tribal guides can guide on.

Herk, ya got Zone 3, very NE corner of the state. Great population, especially if you get off the road and spend some time out in the back side of the ponds and marshes. Bring a canoe, if possible, it'll open up a lot of area to you.

Congrats!!
