TG'er Jesse Olsons "Vanilla" Kwik Styk...pics
« on: June 15, 2008, 04:15:00 PM »
Jesse asked me to post a few pics of his new Kwik Styk...This bow is "plain jane". Black glass, Dark Charcoal Riser and Jesse liked the Mikuta thumb rest so Jack copied it perfectly.

The bow has Static Limbs, 56" 56# at 28". I asked Jesse to post pics when he gets the bow.

Hey Joe,

Reckon what length KS would be good for a man with right around a 30" draw length??

BTW, that's a nice looking bow. Congrats!!

There's just something that feels "right" about a thumb rest.....    ;)

Yes Sir Jesse, Joe is "Top Shelf"!!!!! I've been a customer of his for years.

(if only I could get him to start making wood arrows again)    :archer:

Well that sure is pretty for a "Plain Jane" bow.    :D

It's a good thing I'm not financially wealthy, I can't walk through my bedroom for traditional bows and gear now.............   :biglaugh:

Raw hide, you could probably go with a 58" without any problems. I draw 29" and have 56 and 58" Kwikstyks. Gun-(Tradganger from Sherwood Park Ab.)shoots a 62" Kwik Styk if I remember right@ 29". Longer ones are definatley easier to shoot. Jack usually just makes a longer riser for the different lengths.

The above bow I just shipped out pulls smooth out to 30" and its 56". My buddy came over and ran a few arrows through it with his 30" draw and stated how smooth the static limbs were.
