Help me with Old Bear Arrows
« on: June 15, 2008, 11:37:00 PM »
Well I have been shooting my recurves for 6 months now and I think I am ready to move on to broadheads. Would like to get a box of original Bear arrows with broadheads attached that would work for Bear bows in the 45 pound range.

I have no idea where to start in terms of which arrows would work for me. I see some for sale on @$!# but am clueless as to what I need. Just looking for someone to point me in the right direction in terms of what I should be looking for.

Bill most of the old Bear arrows I have seen on the auction site are for bows between 40-50#.
They should work for you with minimal tuning. Read the boxes when shown and read the auctions and you should do fine.

Bjorn has it down, and also it seems that most of these are 29" or so. I haven't been burned on any that came stored in the box, sometimes even the fletches are in good shape. My guess is that most people abused their target arrows, and stored the ones with broadheads like rifle ammo.
Good hunting!
