Arrow Dynamic Traditional w/ACC - G-Nock "?"
«

Which groove, large or small, on a G-Nock for a 14 strand TS1+ string with a .022 Brownell Polyester serving?
(AD Traditional Heavy with ACC 28 bushing and G-Nock)
I'm guessing large... but have never seen a G-Nock in person.
Thanks in advance...

I would go with the large.

Hey Jeff,
I'm pretty sure you will wish you had gotten the small. Our 12-strand DF-97 string with .022 serving fits the small throated nock very well. My guess (without having a 14-strand TS-1 string appropriately served) is that it's very close to the same finished diameter as our strings. The large throat G-nock may be a little sloppy on your serving. I shoot a fair amount with ACC 3-71's and like the smaller nock.

I was thinking the smaller one and if a tad too tight just use a small file and a couple light touches to the inside of each nock will put ya very good. I use a 12 strand D-97 with .024 and need to do just that with the small ones, the large are as John said a bit sloppy. Shawn

Well I'm trying to get the order switched before it gets out the door. Hopefully...
Thanks for the info!

Jeff,
Why not just order the adaptors and use 5/16 glue on bhoning classics. You can get them from Raptor Archery.

I shoot the large groove G-nocks on my AD Trads with 12 strands of D97 with .024 Halo, they fit perfect.I cut the nock adapters at the groove closet to the shaft,ACC 3-28 bushings will fit the AD shafts also.

Danny: I don't like glue on nocks...
Now it sounds like both the large and small groove works... I guess I'll find out in a few days...
