need a favor from a HABU owner
« on: June 29, 2008, 02:39:00 PM »
I owned a habu a while back and loved it. Ended up selling it because i needed the money more than the bow. Well lately i've been putting a lot of thought into building a takedown recurve. So I thought i'd make a copy cat of a habu since i liked mine so much. Yesterday i roughed out a riser out of a 2x6, just by looking at pics of my old bow. Just wanted to prove to myself that i could do it before i screw up a good piece of wood.

So on to the favor. I don't know anyone close by who owns a habu, that i could get the specs off of. So what i would like is for someone to trace out a pattern of their riser and limbs, preferably on graph paper but its not a necessity. Then i'll give you my address and you can mail it to me.

The habu i owned was an older one i think. Don't even know what model it was. But it was 52# @ 29 and 62".

Here's a pic of it
(see the reply below)

If someone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Kyle

sorry for the massive picture. Please delete, if necessary. I don't know how to resize
