Comfy lighweight folding chair ?
«

..for lounging around the campfire and such.
Can anyone recommend a folding chair that would be good for toting around at an archery rendezvous, etc.? Something easy to carry, but substantial and comfortable. Heck, it could even be used to hunt from, I guess.

I forgot to mention that a backrest is mandatory.

I have tried a bunch and the best choice for size weight (and price) is the armless $5 chair at wal-mart.Just lenghthen carry strap and your good to go.I buy 3 at a time when I find them and replace as needed......

Ditto on the Wal-mart chair. i've even toted it into the woods for gun/muzzleloader seasons. Only problem is I tend to fall asleep in it

Three legged chairs tend to cut off circulation in my legs...in addition to the "John Nail Disorder".

The all-black Double Bull, " Magnum " I have spent 3 to 4 hours in one spot, in a blind and not getting out of the chair, not having circulation cut off, it is the most comfortable chair there is. It also has a movable padded lumbar support. They are great, my wife even uses it when she needs an extra chair in my office.

You can fall asleep in it !!!

I just threw away my three legged, backrest, camo, waterproof super duper hunting chair.
Besides having the faults others have already mentioned, the front leg support broke while I was in my bear hunting blind.
It's a good thing I had a good old white bucket.
No more three legged chairs for me.

It is called Philmont Scout Ranch. It's in the NE corner of New Mexico.
