Thanks to a couple sponsors-pics
« on: February 20, 2007, 08:35:00 PM »
Thanks to Joe Skipp and Onestringer for making it possible to get my arrows how I want them.  I wanted to make my arrows with bright fluorescent orange feathers and wraps, but True-flight's orange feathers just weren't bright enough, nor was anything from Gateway.  Joe sent me a sample of his AMG feathers in Fl. orange, and I finally bought some.  At the same time, I decided to give Onestringer's inexpensive arrow wraps a try.  They match up great and are just what I wanted.  So far, they seem to be good durable products, too.  Here's a pic from stump shooting today:

For a comparison, here's a pic of the above arrow, next to one fletched with True-flight orange feathers:

I give as much support to my local trad shop as possible, but I also appreciate these small internet businesses that are able to fill in the gaps.  Thanks guys.

Brian, if you lose that arrow, you'll need to consult an optometrist.

Way to go Sponsors! Good luck stump shooting!

I got some of those orange wraps from Onestringer for my rabbit arrows. They work great. I also have made up a bunch of flu flus with them also.
