Experiences with Arizona Rim E-Z Fletch Pro?

I have a Bitzenberger fletching tool and it is great but a little slow. I have been looking at the Arizona Rim E-Z Fletch Pro and also saw that Fred Eichler was using them on his show. What has been the experience of any of you who own the E-Z Fletch? Is it something I should get? I like the idea of taking one along with me on long trips together with some shafts and feathers so I can make up new arrows if I need them. The components will pack easier than made-up arrows. I like four fletch, but three fletch would work fine (at least part of the time) if this tool does a good job.

i own one i like it alot but you have to give a little time for the glue to se. if you dont when you open the arms the fletching might get a little sloppy

You have to be careful about the forward tip of the feathers, they sometimes come out and then are glued in a bent position.  also be aware that they have a model just for skinny carbons along with the regular model.  I have used one for years and will probably get a right helical. You can get even a little more helical with these by closing all the arms, then giving them a slight twist with the cap on.

Same results as above.  I think there is a way you can do a four fletch on them as well.

Arizona Rim says you can do 4 fletch, but you have to do it one feather at a time.  I do appreciate the advise and the experiences of others who have used the tool. So, in the opinions of the people out there with experience, do you think it is a good enough tool that I should buy one?

I would get a single JoJan and use fletch tape....

I have one up in the classifieds right now. You can do four fletch, one at a time or two at a time depending on what configuration of four fletch you want. They are easy, and I would think they would be great for kids or novice fletching their first few sets. They are also great for field expedient fixes.
I like mine, I just dont use it that much, and like mentioned above, the forward tip of the feathers can get screwed up if you are meticulous. Overall, if you do a lot of back country hunts it would be a great thing to have in your pack.

Might be a goot tool for field repairs, not up to par of JJ or Bitz.  Just did 5 arrows (three fletch) in less than 30 minutes - Bitz & fletch tape.

If we are talking about the $ 40 blue plastic torpedo of a fletcher, I love mine but you need to use fletching tape instead of glue for your fletchings.  After 5 minutes, take off the fletcher arms and glue the ends.

I use one if I need to fletch something quickly. I use super glue, and the fletching sticks well after a minute of so. That is on cedar arrows.

I would say get the Arizona.  I have a bitzenburger but I can fletch much faster with the Arizona.  also I find I can use fletch tite without problems.

Hey there!  I use an Arizona E-Z fletch for my cedars.  Due to the paint brand I use I also glue with Duco Cement.  I fletch an arrow, let it set for 1 hour and then a dab of glue to the front of the fletch.  I wait an hour because that what Duco recommends.  Also if you use Duco, use it sparringly.  Too much glue and it gets a little sloppy.  Good luck.
