"Sleeve" to add point weight?
« on: July 16, 2008, 08:47:00 PM »
I just put together some silverwood arrows. They turned out to be a bit over spinned for my bow.All I have are 125 grain points. Has anyone ever tried to "sleeve" a shaft just above the point to add weight in the front? Im thinking something like brass tubing cut down and clued to the shaft just above the point. Any thoughts?

I think $3.50 for a dozen points would be money well spent.  If you get a sleeve to fit it will stick in bag targets.  And are you willing to make a dozen of them?
