The light? Sounds like a love story.I bet someone got a great deal on a once very expensive piece of equipment.
A good clean kill or a good clean miss...I thank the Lord for both!

I did the same thing this past winter...got tired of hearing my friends complain about and tweak their bows and accessories to try and fix this noise or solve their shooting inaccuracy. I literally made the final decision in one evening after listening to all this stuff.

Now no one to blame for inaccuracy 'cept me. I like it!!

The one thing that I found, is it your accuracy, and concentration and focus will develop better.  It'll also be more consistent.  You will enjoy it, don't get frustrated, and hang in there, accuracy and nailing it, doesn't come overnight.  But it sure does work better when you don't have the wheel's, I know from experience.  I improved faster, and focus better after I got rid of my wheels.

Your bow will become an extension of yourself, and at that point, it's pretty cool

And you wtll have a lot more fun !

Well Scoter -  you could not have better bows to accompany you on this journey.  I have had so many bows can't count them all - my T/C is right up there with the best of the best one-piece bows.  Just wish I could get my hands on a second one for a backup.

Happy shooting!

Thanks Guys.
I was looking at a thread on AT about how far away can you hit a target or deer.It hit me like a ton of bricks. It's not about how far .It's about how close you can.Too many bells and whistles for me anyway.
I think my shooting will get much better quicker without the compound to fall back on too.Better concentration.Much more fun.
Best
Bob
And yes someone got a great deal on a bow with training wheels...HeHe

i finally sold my last compound too a few months back, kept it around to participate in 3D shoots but realized that as long as I had it and shot it I was taking away from the excellence that is damanded in trad archery

Sold mine on July 26th last year.  At the time I was without a traditional harvest, other than small game.  I have killed 5 hogs and a nice deer since then.  I've had an incredible first year!  Nothing else like it on the planet.
