How much is this bow worth?
«

A buddy of mine has a 66-67 bear kodiak recurve. Its draw weight is mabey 50-55 lbs. The condition,I'm not sure he hasnt't looked at it for quite a few years. I realize this isn't much to go by, so lets just say its in shootable condition.. Just a ball park figure would be great. Thanks

Probably around $50...I'll take it!
Actually some good pictures and some more information on what the actual weight, length, serial number, etc..would be the only positive way to get an idea of the value.

Me too. '68 Grizzly, Bear arrows and greenies. They work just as good as they did 40 years ago.

I have several and hunt pretty much exclusively with them and have for over thirty years. The Kodiaks, Super Kodiaks, and T/Ds are all I've used but I really like them and haven't found anything so far that was a great enough improvment performance-wise to change my mind although I do own one Saxon. Its a copy of a '59 Kodiak though, lol. Good luck......GY

My son hunted all last year with an older K-Mag (since passed along to his sister in favor of an older DH Hunter) and had a great time with it.

If you are wanting a value on the old Bear, you're going to have to be more specific.. For starters there were no "Kodiaks" in 67. There were Kodiak Magnums, Kodiak Hunters and Super Kodiaks.. Values on model weight and condition can vary from $50 to maybe $350-400
Pictures and specifications are need to even come close to telling you what the value might be.
I have always, Since 1966 hunted with Bears. The last several years it's been Magnesium TD's. They have always out performed me.

That's a nice old Grizzly Brent!!!!! (NICE bear too!!!!!)
I shot my spikehorn last year with my 1967 Grizzly and old green Razorheads, and what Brent says(and many others know)is very true.....they work as good today as they did 30,40,50 years ago.

7u ? Can you be more specific as to what type of Kodiak it is? Does it say "Kodiak Magnum" (my guess), "Kodiak Hunter", or "Super Kodiak"? AMO?
