Longbow and Arrows

Hi, I was wondering whether I should make a longbow and make my own arrows and arrowheads out of flint so pretty much make my own equipment or should I just buy everything or just certain things.   :confused:

Start off with a longbow that you buy and get some matched arrows.  Learn to shoot, lots of good books on form and gear.  Learn the basics and then, in the future, move to hand-made gear if you like.
