Black Widow SAG.

Just wondering what some of you that have shot this bow think of it. According to Black Widow's web site the 56" SAG will work for up to a 29" draw. I draw about 28.75". I'm interested in getting a shorter bow.

I have a 58" SAG and I draw 28.5" or so. I love mine.
The SAG model was replaced with the PSR in about 2004. The PSR is roughed out on a cnc and the limb cores and wood options are different now. THe psr has a different grip shape although you can still get one with the SAG grip. You can find some good deals on a used SAG. If you're looking for a shorter bow you won't go wrong with either the SAG or PSR, IMHO YMMV.

Widowbender,
Thanks for the info. I'm thinking about a used SAG.

I think the SAG i had was 54". It had a little finger pinch but man it shot good.

I found the SAG to be pretty good shooters with a great grip and also forgiving.  My mistake was checking arrow speeds after comments had been made about its pokey performance.  Yep...it was a dog for speed, but still wish I had kept it and not worried about how fast it was.

I got the PSR, but hated the grip and sold it.

If another SAG comes along with my specs, I may get it.

Their LAG was also no speedster, but was a great shooter I thought.
