I can't remember the exact HF model #, but they made quite a few of them.  I do know they still make limbs for that upon request.

I'm not sure if the BW label is still on it, I think its been painted over.
Its #50 and he wants $300
I'm trying to save for an elk hunt but I really think this is a cool looking bow.

Same model as the first recurve I ever shot, only mine was solid black.

I have two of these HF1200, circa 1974. One has two sets of limbs, #45 and 55 the other is #51, both 60 inches long. The price is about normal, just a MA with an aluminum handle. I shoot mine 4-5 times a week. I wouldnt take that for either of mine. Sam.

Samuel is right, that's an HF1200, although I think he's a bit off on the dates. The 1200 was the first A frame Wilsom Bros. made and they only made the 1200 1 or 2 years. They added a support to both upper and lower section of risers, got rid of the  rather crude limbs bolts in favor of the brass knurled knobs in late '72 or '73 and called it the HF1225. The metal handle A frames (along with a couple other solid metal frame Widow models) were made through Bill Richards ownership of Black Widow and discontinued after Ken Beck bought the company.

Have no idea what the true value would be, $300 is close to 3 times what the bow cost new in '71. Kinda' heavy and handle gets cold in winter but great shooting bows. I wouldn't take $300 for mine either.

That's a great looking bow - even with the Krylon touch.  Now that I know the models, I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for one around 45#...

That's almost exactly what I'm after - Aluminum riser in a takedown Widow.

$300 is a fair price, even if it has the paint on it. Put a leather grip on the handle and enjoy it. I've been tempted to buy one of the HF's, because the HS models seldom show up for sale.
