Question for Dr. Ed,
are you an medical doctor, or a different kind of doctor? Just curious. Thank you for all your research and free sharing of knowledge.
thanks
Rob

I believe (if memory serves. Be warned though, it normally doesn't) that the good Doctor is an Optometric Physician.

Possibly.

rob got it right.  though he's retired now.
Doc. hasn't been at the computer much of late.  His back has been giving him fits when he sits at the computer, and I believe he's busy compiling his data from the last round of testing.  I am anxious to read it.
Hope he's feeling better soon.    :archer:
I just read that he is out in the field hunting some where in the outback.  Go get them Doc!

Actually, Bard, I just got a note and posted on the Prayer Forum, that I learned Doc is in the hospital...really messed up that ailing back on Tuesday night...ambulance ride in bad pain... should get MRI Monday... He was on his way back from the bush when it started to hurt on a 10 hr. ride on a bad road.

I'm guessing he's not going to be at the computer anytime soon. He'd mentioned to me in a short email last week that sitting even hurt.

Prayers that they find the cause and it's not serious!

I just got that same mail Doc.
Thanks for the heads up.  He's in my prayers for sure.  Its so frustraiting for me when a friend is having pain that I think I could help with, but are to far away for me to get to.

All correct. Ed was an optometric physician specializing in diseases of the eye, long retired. His back has been a problem for several months. Happily, he just completed a marathon bush stint, filling buffalo full of arrows, so at least he got that work and fun in before the back got him down and now he can play with the data while recuperating. He also has another piece ready to go with TBM, all about Tanto tips, which should show up a couple of issues down the line. He'll be back! dave
