Yep Ferret, the week before opening day 2006 our area in Nebraska had 19 inches of snow in a freak storm.... It actually made the hunting easier.... The birds were feeding wherever the cows had dug through the snow or where the sun and wind had removed the snow on the hill tops..... It was 5 degrees opening morning and 15 the next morning when I shot this bird.... called his lady friends in (one of them had a beard)with him and another long beard in tow.... The other photo(2005)is from the same area, same week, with temps in the 50-60's.....

Ya never know!...

Hey Randy I like that blind,i got a popup for xmas and cant shoot my 60" from it Im gonna try the burlap when Im not running after em.Nice birds all,and Denny I like that junkyard tom.Cool story.Thanks for the pics you guys got me pumped.

Herkimer, thats when I use the Burlap, when I'm covering ground and bump into birds.  Quick set-up and light weight!
