Coming home from work to find your two boys out in the snow shooting their recurves(and shooting them well) while the compound bows that you have good coin wrapped up in are still hanging in the same place they were since the day after Christmas.
I went and got my bow cause we had a few minutes before dark. While shooting I asked why they don`t get out the new compounds. They looked at me and said "for the same reason you don`t shoot a compound".

Just got my two sons compounds last year figuring to insite there archery tastes alil more.  Hard to makem stick when ya shootin 15# recurve.
Well after spending over $500 between the two, my youngest only wants the recurve now, the older wants to hunt so it splitting time with both only so he can hunt this year with the bow.  He's taken the recurve to reange more and more,. I don't think he really realizes it.

When I asked em both, why they want to shoot trad and not their compounds, the both gave almost per-batem the response your sons gave you...

This reconfirms, they say what we say and do what we do.. So do good with them and they will do good when your not with them.

I took my 2 boys to their first 3d shoot of the season  today - Both finished 1st in their classes - First thing they said in the truck on the way home was where is the shoot next weekend?  Gotta love it!
