4am wakeup call
« on: August 30, 2008, 08:31:00 PM »
Leaving in the morning for MN bear hunt. All packed and ready to roll.Screwed up my string on my new Orion trying to get it unbraced. Irish came by for some lat minute adjustments. Mike @DRyad sent a new string for me overnight. What a great guy, thanks a million Mike. I was really bummed out, I had everything tuned so well before yesterday. I'll keep you all posted on our progress if possible. Ted Frye thanks for the last minute nocks. I'll put them to use tomorrow getting everything setup.

Thanks Ken I'm hoping things work out for me. This hunt is what keeps me inspired to continue my rehabilitation from my January stroke. I'm happy to just be going on the journey a bear would be icing on the cake. Anybody else going to be close to Grand Marais MN? We will be at Trout lake resort if your close.

Good Hunting John. Good country in Northern MN and the leaves should be turning. Relax in nature and keep an eye open for bears.

Working midnight so I thought you might need a wake up call. I doubt if you'll sleep much though.  :biglaugh:

The hunting should be good up there. I was up at the property I am hunting last weekend and saw some good sign... chewed up logs and torn up anthills.
They're around... go get um!
